David tells me that he called the CBS 2 "Volunteer Hotline" (212-975-2003) today, and was told that CBS Sports may continue to use Studio 43, but not for "The NFL Today". The Sunday afternoon football show will continue to use Studio 59A on Fifth Avenue (currently CBS 2's studio), as they did last football season. CBS Sports's coverage of the NCAA college basketball ("March Madness") is expected to use Studio 43, CBS 2's future home. As we reported earlier, CBS 2 will set up a desk/studio in the newsroom for use during the two weeks in March. A few new cameras and a desk were being installed today.
