Whiter Bug

Now this seems like it could be very trivial but it's worth reporting anyway: the CBS 2 logo bug on the screen has been made whiter, for lack of a better description. Below are a couple of images from this weekend:

Could this be related to the upcoming switch to high definition? Or is this really nothing?
