CBSNEWYORK.com Gets An Update

Yesterday, cbsnewyork.com was slightly updated with darker shades of blue for the headline bars, and more top stories were included on the main page. This evening, the website went a bit further with more changes, including a new banner on top and a more informative weather section. The banner now has a much larger CBS 2 Information Network logo on the top-left, and an image of Studio 43 and the CBS 2 Information Center. "CBS 2 Weather Central" is the title of the updated weather page, complete with new graphics and logos. A banner promotes "Storm Tracker", "Neighborhood Forecast", and "Future Cast". Visitors can now visit the website and find the forecast for their own neigborhoods. This is the latest as CBS 2 News continues its expanded weather coverage. No word yet if the Weather Central will make its way on-air.
