Split Edition of Noon News

Chris Wragge is co-anchoring CBS 2 News at Noon from near Ground Zero in Lower Manhattan today on the arrival of President Bush. Kristine Johnson is at the desk in Studio 46. This is believed to be the first time since News Director David Friend's arrival that a newscast has been done in this split format. The station experimented with it often last summer for several big stories.
